General

The general terms and conditions apply to every offer, treatment, order, agreement, and transaction between Iris Schreurs and the client, to which these conditions have been declared applicable, unless explicitly and in writing deviated from by (one of) the parties. By booking your treatment, massage, workshop, or purchasing products, you acknowledge that you agree with the Sale Conditions offered by Iris Schreurs.

Efforts of Iris Schreurs
1. The employee of Iris Schreurs will perform the treatments to the best of her knowledge and ability, in accordance with the standards of good craftsmanship.

2. The client ensures that all information that can reasonably be relevant for the proper execution of the treatment is communicated to the employee in a timely manner.

3. Iris Schreurs processes the client's personal data in accordance with the guidelines in the Data Protection Act in her client database.

4. The employee of Iris Schreurs is not liable for damage of any kind resulting from the client providing incorrect and/or incomplete information.

5. The employee of Iris Schreurs will inform the client in a timely manner about the financial consequences of any change to the treatment.

Appointments
1. The client must notify Iris Schreurs of any inability to attend an appointment as soon as possible, but no later than twenty-four hours before the appointment. This can be done by phone, email, or WhatsApp.

2. If the client fails to do so or does not do so in time, Iris Schreurs may charge the full fee for the scheduled treatment to the client.

3. If the client arrives more than five minutes later than the scheduled time, the employee may shorten the lost time from the treatment and still charge the full fee.

4. If the client arrives more than fifteen minutes later than the scheduled time, the employee may cancel the appointment entirely and still charge the full fee.

5. Iris Schreurs must notify the client as soon as possible, but no later than twenty-four hours in advance, of any inability to attend an appointment.

6. Both parties are not obliged to adhere to the obligations in articles 3.1 to 3.6 if they are hindered by force majeure. Force majeure includes what is stated about it in law and jurisprudence.

Personal Data & Privacy
1. The client provides Iris Schreurs with all data prior to or at the first treatment, which the employee indicates are necessary or which the client reasonably understands to be necessary for the careful execution of the treatments.

2. Iris Schreurs records and processes the client's personal data on a client card, which is included in a client database.

3. Iris Schreurs handles the client's confidential information in accordance with the guidelines in the Data Protection Act.

4. Iris Schreurs will not sell or rent the client's data to third parties without prior written consent from the client.

Payment
1. Iris Schreurs displays all treatment prices on the website. Prices for products are listed in the practice and/or on the website.

2. All prices mentioned include 21% VAT unless otherwise stated.

3. Promotions in advertisements are valid during the specified period and/or as long as supplies last.

4. The client must make payment for the treatment and any products immediately after the treatment via a payment request or bank transfer.

5. All prices shown on this site are subject to change and/or errors.

Liability
1. Iris Schreurs is not liable for damages of any kind resulting from the employee of Iris Schreurs acting on incorrect and/or incomplete information provided by the client regarding physical conditions, medication use, activities, or leisure activities.

2. Iris Schreurs is not liable for loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings brought by the client to the practice.

Complaints
1. If the client has a complaint about the treatment or a product, it must be reported as soon as possible, but within 7 days of discovery, both verbally and in writing, to Iris Schreurs.

2. Iris Schreurs must respond adequately to the complainant within 5 working days.

3. If a complaint about the treatments is justified, Iris Schreurs will redo the treatment as agreed, unless it has become demonstrably pointless for the client in the meantime, and the client makes this known in writing.

4. If a complaint about the products is justified, Iris Schreurs will partially or fully refund the purchase amount of the products.

5. If Iris Schreurs and the client cannot reach an agreement, the client may submit the dispute to the legal authorities or mediator.

Guarantee
1. Iris Schreurs provides the client with a one-week (7 days) guarantee on treatments and products.

2. After a treatment, the skin may react. The client will be informed of this during the treatment.

3. This guarantee expires if:

• The client has been informed by the employee about the result of the treatment and the duration of its effect;

• The client has used products other than those advised by the employee;

• The client has not followed the home care advice;

• The client has not sought medical help within five working days after the advice;

• The client has not used the products according to the advice of the employee;

• The client has not used the products according to the instructions.

Confidentiality
1. The employee is obliged to keep all confidential information provided by the client during the treatment confidential.

2. Information is considered confidential if the client has told it or if it arises from the nature of the information.

3. Confidentiality ceases if, based on a legal provision or a court ruling, the employee is obliged to disclose the confidential information to third parties.

Damage(s) and/or theft
1. Iris Schreurs has the right to claim compensation from the client if the client damages furniture, equipment, or products.

2. Theft will be reported to the police.

Proper Behavior
1. The client is expected to behave according to generally accepted norms in the practice.

2. If the client repeatedly exhibits inappropriate behavior after warnings, the employee of Iris Schreurs has the right to refuse the client access to the practice without further explanation.

3. Iris Schreurs operates according to the hygiene rules of the HAM code of beauticians.

4. The client is expected to adhere to the personal hygiene rules of the HAM code of beauticians.

Advertising and Beliefs
All publications, such as newsletters, website, and email, are subject to price changes and printing and typesetting errors. All prices of Iris Schreurs include VAT, excluding shipping and delivery costs unless otherwise stated. Legal
1. All agreements between Iris Schreurs and the client are governed by Dutch law.

2. The general conditions are published on Iris Schreurs’s website and are also available in the salon.

3. In case of interpretation of the content and scope of these general conditions, the Dutch text is always decisive. The latest published version or the version valid at the time of the conclusion of the agreement applies at all times. The client always seeks first to address complaints through usual healthcare providers such as general practitioners and specialists.
